Here are the ingredients used for the dish:
- 1/2 kilo of Sticky rice (malagkit)
- 2 sachets of Raisins
- your left over chicken/pork adobo
- 1 pc. bell pepper
- A small can of green peas
- 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder (for the yellowish color)
Procedure:
1. Place all the ingredients in a pot or in the rice cooker (if you have one).
2. The rule with the water to rice ratio is 1:1. Meaning, 1 cup of rice is equivalent to 1 cup of water. Since 1/2 kilo of Sticky rice is 3 1/2 cups, your water must also be 3 1/2 cups.
3. Cook the sticky rice with the ingredients just like how you cook plain rice.
4. Serve and enjoy!
